it depends what kind of hair you have if it will hold or not.

but you put your hair in the curling iron and roll it up and then hold the iron straight up, keep it there for a while. then pull the curling iron down as you release your hair and add some hairspray.

Instead of clamping your hair in tight with "the claw,"

wrap your hair around the barrel and leave until the hair is hot to the touch.

Usually people with thicker hair have more trouble curling it.

You could use a curling iron but I think hot rollers might work a little better. Roll your hair in sections on the rollers, leave them in till cool, take them out and spray, DON"T brush them. When the spray is dry run your fingers gently through the curls to loosen them a little, then spray again.
