cut it a little bit lower than your shoulders it will make your face rounder which will be a different look, have layers with a blunt cut. and make your part to the side so you have side bangs.

I say perm it, there are many perms, not all of them are the "poodle perm", check itno your option and look up your face shape in the search engines. This will help you narrow down what will look good and bad on you.

I suggest a pixie cut with layers. Some edgy looking side-bangs also. and then get highlights and lowlights if you want to keep it blonde. If not, then I think you should go for a light sandy brown color. It'll match your skin tone well.

If you want to make a statement, I would put honey colored highlights in. Then I would get full on bangs, and then layer it from there. I'd get it cut to about shoulder length.

Maybe try short layers.I did,at first it was about to my shoulders with layers then it grew out.It looks really good.For the color maybe die it chocolate brown if you want to change the color.These are just suggestions,you look good as is.

The general census seems to be a Posh cut or a layered cut (toward your face) w or without bangs. I found these two cuts before reading what others said. I think you should go lighter. With your cute face, in my opinion you would attract more attention going lighter. You have a blonde look. I just would NOT cut it up off my neck or higher than touching shoulders. Just remember that its what you like that matters. If youre not comfy w it, you wont present yourself confidently. My BFF has always had a short choppy chic cut....bleach blonde-average blonde color. she recently went in for dark brown chunks and came out with black hair and blond pieces. Shes stuck w it bc of so much past coloring. Everyone loves it but her and me. She gets compliments from strangers, ok? BUT....SHE doesnt like it, so ASAP she will go back to what SHE likes. YOU be happy and if other people dont like your choice, tell 'em not to look. Its your choice babe!

I have a few hair questions....?

Above is a picture of my hair. That picture was taken about a year and a half ago...so, it's quite a bit longer. And if you can't tell from the picture, my hair is very thick. I also have to wash it every day, or else it gets oily. Here are my questions....

1. What is the best hair brush for my hair?

2. I use Garnier Fructis Long and Strong shampoo and Vive shine conditioner...however, I have to change my products every so often or my hair starts to look bad. Any suggestions?

3. What are some things I can do (besides the obvious) to keep my hair in overall good shape?

4. Any general hair advice?

Ok so i have dirty-strawberry-blonde (red blonde and brown)

my hair is curly (not super curly like tight crazy curls, more like those big supermodle curls) and long. (like 5 inches below my shoulders)

I want a new hair cut, but i DON'T want to change the color or

get my hair permed or staightened.

My eyes are blue-green-hazel (very pretty color trust me)

my neck is long.

my face is heart shape.

my skin is somewhat pale and i have lots of faint freckles.

(i don't like my freckles so hopefully the hair cut will help to hide them)

You sound very hyper and cute, however sometimes all you need to do for change is ad something to what you already have. Perhaps think of what says you and ad it to your style. once you cut or color, it will ad to the confusion. Maybe partial braids - ribbon -costume jewelry - hell a troll doll ??? what ever you like... You sound good about yourself and that's whats important... Good Luck !

You should go to different hairstylists, (try a cosmetology school in your area, they won't charge so much) and experiment with different looks before deciding... because what looks good in a picture might not look the same on you and you could end up disappointed if you just take a picture into a salon day of the wedding and say here make me look like this!

My hair is about the same length as yours, and as a bridesmaid a few months ago, I had the stylist to curl my hair in tiny little kiss curls all over and lift and pin it up in the back and on the sides, it turned out satisfactory, but I wish I'd taken time to experiment with it first before my friends wedding.

Both theknot.com and weddingchannel.com have great ideas, but the best advice I can give you is to schedule a "trial run"/consolation with your stylist to see what she is able to do and what works with your hair. If you want a really classic updo (think Jackie Kennedy), then look for a 50+ year old stylist, but if you want the la tests, trendiest look, I suggest finding someone under 30. Pictures are a good starting point, but a trial run will guarantee you'll get what you like.

When i went to get my hair done. I said i want half up and half down, with the top curly and the bottom straight, My stylist said no-way you can't have straight hair. So i let her curl it all, i also have very very very thick hair that is past the middle of my back,. she did a side part in the front, and pinned up some of the curls so half was up and it turned out beautiful, but because my hair is so thick, the curls started to fall out by the end of the night, so going with half straight i think would be better. Well... here is what I would do...

1. Start with a root lifting mouse. Apply it to wet hair that has just been towel dried... I also use paper towel because it gets more water out so your hair isn't slippery. Separate your hair in multiple places along the sides and back spraying the mouse right next to your scalp. Then rub it all in and comb it through your hair.

2. Then I would find a good curling gel and apply that in your hair upside down starting with the roots and working it through to the ends... a little goes a long way.

3. If your hair is already curly, I would wrap small sections of hair around your finger tight, then pull it out and down. When you have all the curls done. Blow dry your hair upside down and finger style it when it is dry.

If your hair isn't curly, dry it upside down first, then take a skinnier curling iron and curl each section of hair in layers. Salons also have good curling sprays that you use before and after you curl to make sure it will stay all day.

It looks like she has either mousse or gell and more than likely either lets it dry naturally OR uses a defuser to lessen frizziness.

My hair is very similar to the 2nd picture, and that is what I do.

Try not to brush your hair too often. i find the best way to not get your hair too frizzy is to finger-brush in the shower using any conditioner. then scrunch in a towel and apply "Fudge Hair Shaper"

- it's a balm, don't use too much, just emulsify (rub your hands together with a bit on them) and then wipe through your hair and scrunch.

you'll develop your own way of distributing it through your hair after some time.

if your hair is normally straight - try some "fructis pump hair serum" to keep it soft and shiny.

I would call the first one a kind of caramel colour, warm undertones. The second is a reddish with caramel/blonde highlights. I think they're slightly different.

The first picture is a blond and brown mixture.

The second picture is a reddish blond color.

With your skin tone you might be able to pull off either look..but I would suggest the blond/brown mixture.

It would give you the same hair tone as skin tone, and it will make you look blah. You have to go either richer (darker) or brighter (lighter) than your skin... otherwise you look like white curtains on a white wall. Frame that window called your face.

I think you'd look great with Auburn hair with tons of chunky blonde highlites. Hip, modern, and will look amazing.

You can see the darkness as the base color etc.. but really.. how was this done? If you were to take some of those pictures to a hairstylist and tell them you wanted it like that how would they do it? like.. what all was done with it to get it to look that way?

OK. That is the growing out look and you have 3 ways to achieve that look.

(1)Highlight first if you have naturally dark hair and then grow it out.

(2) color the roots dark if you already have light hair or highlights

(3)or the reverse darken the roots and then highlight the rest of the shaft.

Any good colorist can achieve that look for you, whichever you need.

But, if you look closely at the photos alot of them look like they played with the shadows cast by the lights to achieve that dark root look. You can create that look with shadows in photography!

ummmmmmm... speaking from x-perience if u bring a pic to the hairdresser... it will most likely nawt b wat u asked 4..... i mean both me and i friends have had the same x-periences..... i mean my friend asked for cute short layered hair and brought a pic 2 the hairdresser

she cried 4 dayz and refused 2 go 2 skewl .....her mom waz sooo coll about it and let her stay at home for the rest of teh week ... but it waz soooo sad...(( she sent me a pic and made me swear neva 2 show it 2 anyone..............)) %26amp; told me neva to reccommend any1 to go 2 that hairdresser.... for me it waz a similar x-perience... but it is 2oooo sad and embaressing 2 telll any1....

my advice is to tell them exactly wat u want ... also some stores have things called doll hair...... it's when the u describe wat u want then the hairdresser preforms it on a doll.... so that u can how they interpertrated wat u said..... u have 2 pay though it's really cheap ...like ten bucks and if u don't ;like it u can leave

Do something that is loose and natural looking. Stiff, gelled, hard-as-a-rock prom styles look ridiculous. The girls with the most natural hair always look the best. You should do something different, of course, because its your prom and you don't want to look how you always do, but don't do anything too over-the-top.

Half up half down is a good idea. Have your stylist put loose curls in it all over, pull the top back loosely, and maybe leave out a few face framing pieces. You could also pin your bangs back for a more dramatic look. Just don't do anything that has curls sticking out in funky places or wild wispy things, or a giant updo. It won't look good, I promise!

You know your avatar you should dress up like that. Hair up, more bangs one one side.Give the bangs some volume,some hair down at the side. Spike your pony tail if you like. Unless you have fake eyelashes the camera wont pick up your eye lashes so don't worry about them. Remember theres a flash so anything very light wont show up.Just put some eye liner at the bottom corner and not the whole thing. The top eye liner id fine. Wear lip gloss make your lips look bigger. Some bronzer at the side would look nice but not needed.

Try this out before picture day, so you know what it looks like.

firstly, dont go all out b/c you never want to look like you are trying too hard. it depends on your facial shape but I'd say either keep it down with a side part/ half pony or take a clip or a bobby pin and pin the front hairs away from from your face.

I did this once and it rocked! Try to do light but thick curls in your hair. Meaning not too tight but spaced (i guess is the word for it). Do sections but then don't go crazy and do too many curls, that just makes your hair big.

Okay so I really need some help here, naturally I have a medium to dark blonde hair color. Last summer I got it back to it's natural medium golden blonde look and then in fall I wanted to try brunette-it was a light golden brown but turned out SOOO dark! It looked dark brown and faded a bit to a medium brown but looked redish, so November I tried to dye it black with i believe Sun Blonde-it looked terrible and was really red, someone told me to try a toner which did nothing. So January I died my hair light ash brown which covered the red and I figured would hold me off- WRONG! It once again is a redish hue and I have dark blonde roots begining to poke through, I want to go back to a darker and most importantly NOT redish blonde if at all possible! Any suggestions on what dye to use or what to do? I can't afford a salon right now...

maybe a dark blonde dye would work, but its difficult to get rid of the red with out having it stripped out and i really recommend you go to a salon for that. your really pretty though and i think your hair looks nice as it is. keep to ash tones though they stop it looking brassy

Well, I'm going on a few job interviews really soon and I want my hair to be a little more sophisticated and chic so I'm going to have it cut. Right now it's pretty much a blank canvas. It's long (about mid-chest) and a warm medium brown color. I have grown out side cut bangs so now they're about down to my cheekbones. I'm open to pretty much anything unless it's really short and I don't know if I want to change the color or not but if I get a good suggestion I might decide to. Heres a picture of my hair, but in the picture my hair was curled and I normally straighten it, so it's normally a little longer when it's straight. do you have straightners? if so then keep your hair at the same length as it is now, just have a 2-inch trim to neaten it up. A side parting with a sweeping fringe will look great on you :) heres a pic of what it looks like (just concentrate on the fringe, not the rest of the hair)

I can't sed pics, something is out of whack w/comp. I have done this hair style many times and it will not fall or get messy. It has lasted through proms,weddings and pageants.You divide your hair into three sections,top,mid, bottom. Put the lower one in a good tight pony down at the nape of your neck or a little higher according to your hair and prefrences,then another pony in the mid and then the top one goes at the very top center of your head or at the top back,according to your veil or headpiece.So now you have 3 ponytails in a vertical line down the center back of your head(this can also be done over toward the side of your head but most like it in the center). Now put a good gel or mousse in and roll it in small hot rollers or hot sticks. Use as many as you can and use a small amount of hair on each roller so you will get a good tight curl.DO make sure to wrap the ends around the roller and keep it under the hair as you roll so you will have curly ends and not hooks or sticky outy places! Leave the hair rolled until the hair and rollers/sticks are completely cooled (or do it early and let them stay in for hrs if you have hard to curl hair or you are busy).Start at the bottom and tease the pony, mid ,and top. I always start at the underneath and tease the tightest and then more loosely on the top. Spray well. Start at the bottom and form your curls , spray them as you go. Do the mid and then top.You may need to tease the ponys together (take some hair from the bottom pony and some from the mid and tease them together and do it on each side and with all of the ponies) your hair is thin or very straight or fine and then do the curls.Lift with the comb end where it looks flat for a more uniform look and spray. You may want small loose curls at your ears or keep it all pulled back into the pony to show your earrings.When this is finished you will have a cascade of beautiful curls.It makes your hair look longer if you use the pony low on the bottom. If you have very thick hair you may want to use ponytails about 3-4 inches apart and make two rows down the back.Heavy hair will stay up better and it will be an awesome cascade. This doesn't take long to do but it is weird to write it!You may want to do waves instead of curls so use the larger rollers or sticksand/or put mor hair on each one. I invented this for my daughter who has lots of thick straight-as-a-stick hair when she was doing pageants so I wouldn't have to put her hair up and down for each costume change and it always held up even through her gymnastics/dance routines. The hot sticks are the best for hair like hers and I used two sets for her. I hope I have helped. Try this or any other suggestions before the big day to see if it is the right look for you, the veil and the dress and also to see how long it takes to finish it so you won't be rushed on the wedding day. I usually ended up fixing hair for prom pics and several weddings and had other pageant moms ask me to do their kids hair and I didn't know them. My daughter didn't do pageants all the time but just as a fun mom-daughter project and she always placed or won. I just didn't like doing it full time and as seriously as others.

Red and blonde is not a good look if your hair isn't naturally red to start with. Just be careful cause it sounds like your trying to put too many different colors in there and that's a big change you may not like it if its too drastic. Take your time and work your way to what you have in mind.

woa hey woa hey, im the guy here, and being the thing that you're trying to impress with your awesome looking hair, i gotta say that u shouldn't change it at all. the langth is perfect (even though u didn't want to change that, i still want to make it a point), and the color is hot. your overall image is just totally sweet, u like exactly like the kinda girl i would wanta date. i cant give ya an exact reason, but your hair just makes you seem like you're a lot of fun to hang out with. Hi, I would suggest you go to a salon that has the computerized style selector. It will show you in different styles and colors which is nice and you can decide. Depending on your budget and if you don't have grey hair, you might just go natural and add some low and hi lights for a change or even some fun colors like red,etc. Coloring your hair can be expensive, I know my hair is long and I color it and get hi lights and it cost me over $ 100.....So now I just color it myself and go to the salon for hi lights around my front and sides which is half the price and the color in the drug stores is about $ 8 a box and it takes two boxes for my hair, it is down to my waist. I have hair long enough to sit on. I often just do a figure 8 twist. Take all of your hair at the base of your skull like you were going to do a low pony tail then twist it. Keep twisting as you move the pony tail up when you reach the top of your skull let the twist form a loop. keep twisting and forming loops at the top and bottom until you are out of hair. Then I either use a couple o f hair sticks to pin it in place or a load of bobby pins. Sometimes I just hold it in place with a large Clip.

I like the color the way it is, maybe a new style, or just a few extra layers. I would only use a caramel color with your skin type, if you plan to lighten, or add highlights. i think it looks fine. you could sometimes curl the ends to give your hair a little spring. you take a styling brush (easy at rite aid) and take a blow dryer and curve it around the ends. then use the hot heat, then cold so it'll stay in place....

If you leave hair out you will have to style it and if you don't its easier. I have seen a lot of jamaican weaves like this and they have a headband in the front and the hair in the front left out over the weave. Acrimp and curls tend to be to fulland heavy for around the face.

okay get your hair cut short (spikeable short) at the back and get a long fringe (so if covers your eyes and half your nose) at the front. Brush the finge to oneside and keep inplace useing extra firm hold hair spray. Then spike the short bit at the back using hair gel (v05 or summat). Oh yeah and dye it black and get blue or green or red highlights in your fringe.

And you will look fiTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!
